Pitch and Pavillion Maintainance

Considerable work needs to be done on the square and the Pavillion over the next six weeks in order to get the ground ready for Cricket.

The pitch itself requires a great deal of rolling, then all sorts of other stuff before more rolling, cutting and rolling. Get in touch with the groundsman - Daryl - to offer a helping hand as he really does have his work cut out.

We have also started a major refurbishment of the pavillion itself. There was a leak in the plumbing which has caused considerable damage to the carpet and indeed the floor underneath. The only way to repair the damage has been to completely gut out the main room in the pavillion of all flooring and furnishing. All this will need to be rebuilt and replaced. The work is planned and ready to go, all we need is manpower.
