Kane Smith: Debut 2011

Kane has been in and around the fringes of the Offley first team for a number of years now since beginning his career in the Colts teams, in fact he is one of the Herts U15 County Cup winners in 2009 who are emerging as the future of the club.

2012 was his breakthrough year when he made his mark as a batsmen in both the Development team and the Sunday team. Showing skill and bravery against the faster bowlers, he never fails to give anything less than his all in the field and is at times a quite brilliant fielder. A talented footballer and all round sportsman, Smith has shown himself to be fearless on the cricket pitch and has pulled off a number of impressive catches both on the boundary and close to the wicket. He is also an impressive though reluctant wicket keeper.
