Harry Lovell

Harry Lovell: Debut 2009

Lovell is the proud holder of the highest score by any Offley player. Unfortunately this score of 180 came in the pub where he can regularly be found honing his dart-throwing skills.

Although he seldom leaves himself with single figure checkouts at the oche, Lovell is a master of single figure entries in the scorebook and despite making his debut in 2009 has yet to make much of a fist of things with a bat in his hand. He may only need one dart to hit a double but regular failures with the willow have earned him the nickname of Harry “One Ball” Lovell.

Bowling is undoubtedly his strongest suit and he has produced a number of impressive spells which have not always earned him the rewards he deserved. Lovell has the ability to bowl with genuine pace and tends to pick up wickets whenever he can be coaxed away from the comfort of the dartboard.
