Saracens Div 11 Table 2006

New boys Offley & Stopsley enjoyed a dream debut as they won the Division 11 championship in their first season in the Saracens Herts League. They lost only one of their 17 completed matches as they won the title by a comfortable 38 points.

Richie Barker starred with the bat and ball, scoring 498 runs and topped the bowling averages with 35 wickets. Dan Jordan proved an equally effective all-rounder, taking 26 wickets and scoring 425 at an average of 106.25. Like several other players her did not appear in the batting list after only being dismissed four times, one short of the five completed innings required for this division. Mo Chaudry scored 448 runs while Gareth Mathewson, Colin Keeley and Mathew Freeman also claimed more than 20 wickets. (Taken from Herts League handbook 2007)
