The beginning of the End for Stopsley CC

One Saturday in late May 1991 we turned up for a league game to be greeted with the sight of smouldering timbers where our pavillion used to be.

It seems some people in the modern world cannot cope with others enjoying themselves. Inevitably this resentfullness turns to destruction. One wonders if the people who performed this mindless act have gone on to enjoy fullfilling succesfull and peacefull lives.

One suspects and hopes this isn't the case !
