Presentation Night 2006

Held on the 14th October 2006 at the Offley Recreation and Social Club this event was more eagerly awaited than usual as there was actually something to celebrate. After a succesfull and enjoyable summer the Social Committee decided to spend a few quid on some entertainment.

There was a raffle, speeches and they even hired a Minty from Eastenders lookalike to do the disco and Kareoke.

Awards

Duckwatch Winner - Nathan Brodie (check the stats page for details)

Skirt of the Year (presented to person who threw the biggest strop all season) - Wayne Cutts (for a fine effort in the last game against Lilley)

Young Player of the Year - Mathew Freeman

Best Bowler - Richie Barker

Best Batsman - Daniel Jordan

Best Performance - Dave Bridgland

Presentation of Gifts to Martin Bigmore with thanks from the club for outstanding service prior to his Emigration to Australia.

Presentation of Saracens League Div 11 Trophy (pictured above).

As well as the main awards, there were flowers presented to Tracy (Tea Lady) and Hilary (Scorer) with much gratitude for a job well done.

Things started to warm up and loosen after this, the longest raffle in the world was conducted by Phil Gourd in which Richie Barker won all the prizes worth winning and loads of other stuff was won by winners who clearly couldn't care less.

Then the Kareoke started . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
